James Gersten, Silver Street’s founder, acquired his significant experience and expertise in brand and concept development as the head of Starwood Capital Group’s Global Operations, CEO of BR Guest Hospitality and President of need Culinary Concepts – a joint venture with Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Prior to Starwood, Gersten developed his own restaurant, the famed NYC institution La Esquina and was a Senior Vice President of André Balazs' Hotels as well as Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group.
